Doug is a lifelong Utah resident and an absolute Utah junkie; he is particularly addicted to the mountains and mountain activities. When he is not working, you can usually find him on a mountain somewhere, working or with family.

In the business since 1979, Doug formerly worked for what was then a prominent print and design shop. With 24 years of print buying experience, he knows how to get the best possible value in print distribution.

In 1993, Doug started da Vinci Advertising & Marketing from an office in his home and has since overseen its evolution from a one-man/one-dog operation into a full-service strategic marketing communications agency serving industrial, hospitality and business-to-business clients.

As president, Doug’s duties include all areas of business management, financial planning, marketing, and human resources/relations. He is also responsible for specific advertising duties, including crafting and executing marketing strategies and overseeing the actual branding for all clients. Doug's work has long been recognized as the driving force behind the agency and the quintessential element behind many of our most successful campaigns.

Doug is a member of SL Rotary and is on the following non-profit boards or is part of their organizations: ShelterKids,™ a SL County youth services organization that provides community support for at-risk teens. Cause For Hope,™ an international non-profit that provides training, micro-credit and self reliance for developing Central American countries. If you would like to know more about these organizations and how you can participate, please contact Doug directly.
